About

The person who raised them.

Little VIP Daycare & Private School, LLC is a licensed family-home childcare and preschool built around one goal: a learning environment suited to each child's development. It is also, very much, one person's house and one person's standards.

Lai and her husband.

Owner, administrator, cook, and second mom to a lot of kids.

Lai is the owner and administrator of Little VIP Daycare & Private School. She has been happily married for more than twenty years and shares her home with two Pomeranians who take their supervisory duties very seriously.

Ask her how she measures success and she points to the kids: the ones in her care today, the ones who have moved on to elementary school, and the changes you see in your own child after only a few weeks. Her proudest one is simple. Her Pre-K kids read before kindergarten.

I strive to create an atmosphere in which each child feels encouraged to open up and take chances in their academic career as well as with their personal relationships with the other children.

PhilosophyWhat guides us

Philosophy

The highest quality care, every day

Every early childhood program should provide the highest quality care for young children. We hold ourselves to that standard every single day.

Mission

The whole child, in a place that feels safe

Support the whole child through developmentally appropriate programming in a secure, child-centered setting where kids feel safe to try new things.

Vision

Deeper roots in the community

Be a recognized leader in childcare, promoting lifelong learning and deeper roots in the community we serve.

Six yearsWhy families stay

Certificates under the tree.

From first steps to first diplomas.

Families join us with babies and toddlers and stay through kindergarten graduation. Along the way their kids learn to read, make friends, pick apples, sing in the Christmas recital, and cross our little stage in a cap and gown, ready for elementary school.

Parents stay close too. Family dinners, holiday gatherings, and the Easter festival are part of the deal, and daily texts from teachers mean you never have to guess how the day went. It is a close-knit place run by people who genuinely love this work.
